Chomsky vs. Friedman
Both Chomsky and Friedman view globalization as a positive thing. Friedman sees the world "flattening," with markets opening and everything being more free and at the same level. Chomsky would tend to disagree, believing that first world countries are benefitting at the expense of third world countries. I would tend to agree more with Chomsky, as many examples discussed in class have shown that first world countries often have better global economies while hurting the human rights in the third world countries.
