In my opinion, the United States government should not send any form of foreign aid as of right now. There are a lot more things that the money could be used for. The United States should worry about their financial state before sending out money to other countries. As of right now we cannot afford to help other countries with their population growth, due to our poor economy. Once we repair our economy and get on our feet I think aid could then be considered. Also, with the aid comes terms and conditions. We can’t just sent countries money and let them put it towards ‘helping population growth’. Realistically they could do anything they wanted with that money. I also think that there are plenty of other ways we can help the countries other than sending money. I understand that people want to work in preventing a the crisis from getting worse but sending money could create a bigger problem for the U.S since money is so tight right now.
