Foreign Aid to Reduce Population Growth

I believe that the United States government should send foreign aid to reduce the world’s population growth. Foreign aid to reduce population growth could involve sending assistance to countries that are devastated by food shortages, limited education, minimal healthcare, and a poor quality of life. However, I do not believe that the United States should be going full force sending aid to nations that are stricken with rapid reproduction. I believe that government officials should mainly focus on poverty stricken countries. This is due to the majority of nations that are stricken with poverty being hot zones for over population. If we focus on sending aid to underdeveloped, poverty stricken, and nations with minimal government interaction, then I believe we will be working to create a more reasonable population size for the future. Although poverty stricken nations are a necessary target to supply with aid, I do not believe we should be sending aid to nations with a stabilized government who have perfect capability of altering their population production size.
