US Foreign Aid

I think US aid to foreign countries regarding population growth would likely be beneficial, but I don’t think it would be implemented fully for its purpose in each country. There is no guarantee that aid, such as birth control or funding for education, would be properly used by every nation it was provided to, namely because many governments now don’t want to allow such access. For example, women in Pakistan have very few rights and face opposition from government officials when something as simple as better education is advocated for. There is also the problem of the US having the means to actually supply aid to multiple nations. It’s a question of how much room in the budget our country has. I believe that giving aid would be very advantageous, but from an economic standpoint I’m not sure it’s plausible. Of course, were the US benefiting in some way from the exchange, this problem could be accounted for.
