The U.S. on Foreign Population Growth

I think that the United States government should not send foreign aid to reduce the world’s population at this time. With the current state of the economy, the United States can’t even afford to pay the people working for the government, so no additional money should be put towards foreign aid when priorities need to be met. I think at some point in the future when the economy isn’t so bad and the United States federal government gets rid of trillions of dollars of debt, giving money to the population cause is something worthwhile. The aid definitely needs to have conditions associated with it, and that will be that the money is used to follow the guidelines that the U.S. has assigned. It is important to think about the world as a whole, and with the green movement being so prevalent in society today, I think the population of the United States would agree with it. If the US were to spend more money now it could be a disaster, but if they wait until the deficit is cut and the economy is back to normal, spending money helping the global landscape for the future is a very smart investment.
