My thoughts Of Al Qaeda mockery

I think this is a bunch of crap. Al Qaeda has essentially supported the resistance given by the Shababs and condoned the stalling of aid to Somalia's starving population. Nothing can reject the facts that all of that happened and currently still is. So why is it now that the bad guys seem good?

I believe that this is all mockery and a cover up. Al Qaeda is not only trying to improve its image for all the other countries watching but like the article said, "is trying to recruit the starving to their side". It is just a game being played to gain support and show how they aren't still enemies worth fighting against. Yet we all know the power and influence Al Qaeda has with not only Shabab but also many other terrorist organizations around the world. I know that scenarios don't just change over night. This being a prime example. One second they seem no better then the devil himself to Westerners, yet the next day the organization expects everyone to except that their actually doing good. No.

Anyone who associates themselves with a group like Shabab, who has essentially fueled the problem at hand, cannot be scene as a helper in this situation. Even if aid is given it doesn't make for the millions of lives being taken by their "Allie". It would have been much more persuading if the spokesman Abu Abdulla Almuhaji mentioned that not only was food, water, and aid being delivered by Al Qaeda, but also the ending of their relationship with Shabab. If Al Qaeda went ahead and stated that no more affiliation with that terrorist group would occur, and the famine was a much more serious issue to fight for then against most of the world would probably agree. I simply think what they are attempting is not enough to give them a good image, just a sense of mockery and trickery. If anything people will believe something suspicious is up, rather then help. if aid is given and for the approval of the other superpowers and nations, Al Qaeda will have to go the whole nine yards and prove themselves worthy of support. If not then they will keep being the rivals and enemies of western civilization and democracy.

The world community seems disgusted, including Somalia, and it will probably stay that way. I don't see many countries taking sides and saying that this group is doing a good thing. The article was biast and sided very much so on the side against this outreach by Al Qaeda. Not many people seem to be buying it.
