Debate Reflection

I really enjoyed creating these debate cases. We are always told to write thesis papers like an argument but we never get to argue them. The problems I had with the project was the timing of the debate. I think that the reason the class is having such a strong reaction against the debating is because of it's format. Doing a typical PF debate is really stressful and requires us to come up with arguments on the spot. If we set it up in a less formal way, I think the arguments would get across just as well and the pressure would be a lot less demanding.
