The Debate

I thought our group did a really great job during the debate in class on Friday, although we did not work it was clear that our two speakers worked hard to do research and come up with a solid argument. I felt bad that I really did not do anything after the single class period that we worked on it, I would have done more work but I think if I were the speaker I would have wanted to write what I wanted to say myself. I also commend David greatly, it was not his first choice to speak but he did a great job nonetheless and really did our group proud. We definitely could have focused more on the present, but I did not so much think that was as prevalent in the resolution as others may have found it, maybe I just read it wrong or am not remembering correctly though. Overall our speakers did a great job keeping cool, calm and collected while providing a stable, well thought-out argument.
