War in Iraq.

I believe that the war in Iraq was successful because our troops fought for nine years ad are now able to come home. I don't believe Iraq's a perfect place. It has many challenges ahead. The United States however is leaving behind a sovereign, stable and self reliant Iraq with a representative government that was elected by its people. The United States is building a new partnership between its nations and we ( the U.S.) are ending a war not with a final battle but with a final march toward home. I agree with President Obama when he said that this war can be considered a 'historic' moment. Although over thousands of soldiers were injured and died in combat, they were injured/died fighting or their country and protecting the United States, their home. Fighting this nine year war and watching it come to an end is a great sight. I believe the United States came out on top and achieved a lot for its country.
