Chomsky vs Friedman

Friedman:

In Friedmans video, he talks about the positive effects of globalization. He explains that when people are given an opportunity to do something, they should take it, because in the "flat world", if your not taking these opportunities, someone will beat you to it. These opportunities refer to business and the resources that people have to use around the world for manufacturing products and to take advantage of these less expensive opportunities, such a the cost of labor in a different part of the world.

Chomsky:

Chomsky talks about the negative effects of Globalization, and how it can benefit the wealthy, but not so much the poor. He explains that the wealthy are more important and are listened to when it comes to wants and needs. The poor get essentially nothing out of Globalization, and if it does effect them in some way, it most likely hurts but not helps them.

I agree with what Chomsky said in his video because he is right in his explanation of Globalization  having no effect on the poor. Friedman seems to be trying to back up negative Globalization, and I do not agree with that.
