Chomsky:
Chomsky tends to believe that Globalization can have both a good and bad effect. Globalizatin can help the world as well as specific countries by opening them up to more importing and exporting which can help countries all over the globe. The increase in trade, however, can also lead to the misconception that people in all walks of life are benefitting when in fact the majority of those who are benefitting are wealthy and those that are poor are suffering the most.
Friedman:
Friedman tends to force the point that Globalization is slowly but surely shrinking the world. The three eras of Globalization that he talks about are the reasons behind the diminishing size of the world. Globalization started with a country to a company and now individuals will begin to gain the most control over Globalization due to advances in technology and communication.
I tend to agree with Friedman.
