Globalization is Good

Before reading the articles on globalization, I had thought that globalization was a good thing. After reading the articles, I am on the same page as I was before. One reason why I say this is because in my opinion there are more positives than negatives. Most of the time that countries work together, things are improved. Think about the project that was done last year by the students in the global issues classes. They worked with Haiti to make an improvement. A well was built and people in Haiti were able to get the water that was not available to them before. This is an example of how countries can work together in order to make good, beneficial changes. Globalization also helps countries get ideas and find out about global news. When two countries are allies, they can help each other out with many things. It could be with fighting, economics, or more serious problems such as attacks and riots. Also, if a country has had some kind of attack on them, they can let other countries know so that they are able to watch out and prevent it from happening to them. When countries work together as one, issues can be solved.
