Chomsky
He believes that international integration is a good thing, but there are varying forms of international integration and globalization is one specific form of it. He explains how globalization is a bad thing and forces farmers to move into the city to obtain low paying jobs. Overall, he describes how globalization only helps the rich and how it harms the poor
Friedman
He explains the 3 eras of globalization and how they changed the size of the world. He also goes into detail about what is exactly globalizing in the eras and how it is now individuals that are globalizing, not companies or countries. He then goes onto explain that "whatever can be done will be done" and will it be done "by you or to you." Basically he is saying that any idea that one has that is possible will be done, and if I, or you, have an idea that we shouldn't wait because we have the world at our disposal.
Both Chomsky and Friedman have very good points but overall I agree more with Friedman The world we live in now is run by individuals and if we don't do something before someone else it will be done to us and we will be left behind. We all have the world at out disposal and we should use it before someone else figures out how.
