Globalization-Good
Globalization is good for the world for many different reasons. For third world countries globalization helps improve their economy, developing it and expanding it, leading to more money for the country. In first world countries poverty is often a problem, but globalization has taken 200+ million out of poverty in countries like China and India. This means many people were able to make the jump from lower to middle class due to affects of globalizing. New industries like Starbucks offer better paying jobs than those of local shops and stores already set up in the country. People in China are saying they feel they have better opportunities due to the newer, better economy. People also don't have to immigrate to countries like America to seek good opportunity, as their globalized countries are starting to offer the same opportunities. In 1991 India decided to finally allow foreign investment, and a few years later their economy was booming because of it. Doing this created many new jobs openings as well. Globalization in first world countries like America also opened the door for people of other countries to work for them, with people of India being a good example.
