Globalization

After reading the article in class my position on globalization has remained the same. I still think that globalization has a positive effect on the world. Globalization leads to the creation of many more jobs in the world. Although many of the unskilled jobs are leaving America there is a large growth in the amount of jobs available to all. Also through globalization there is a large positive effect on the daily lives of the world population. Organizations can now go and help others throughout the globe. Also globalization gives undeveloped countries the chance to become developed. There are new opportunities for the common peasant. People are now given the chance to earn much more money than the generation before them. There are new job opportunities as well as new markets for jobs to grow in. The article argued that globalization was bad because there was a growing gap between the upper class and the lower class. This is untrue. Because of globalization the gap between classes has narrowed and the middle class has grown. Globalization may have many negative aspects but the positives simply outweigh the negative aspects. The positive aspects of globalization impact a much larger portion of the world than the negative aspects.

  1. I happen to agree with this blog because I also think that globalization creates jobs and links the world together. Both these things are a necessity to gaining power and becoming stronger. Great job!
