Environment and Food Securities

While reading the Declaration of Human Rights it is quite noticeable that none of the articles revolved around neither the food security nor the environmental securities of a human. In some ways the environment cannot be controlled like when natural disasters happen such as earthquakes and tsunamis. However, there are other environmental issues that can be helped by humans such as pollution and global warming. But when this was written in 1945, I don't think the UN was as concerned with the environment. They were more concerned community, political, personal, and economic securities. The same thing goes with food security. Food depends on the environment as well and we can control that it some ways but not all. I think that the UN only wanted to include articles that they knew they could control.
