Political Security

I believe political security to be the most important human security. Political security is somewhat the backbone to all of the other securities that exist. Without stable political security, a stable economy cannot exist. Additionally, having political security allows for stronger community and personal security by protecting all of the rights we have as humans to not feel in danger at home and in the place in which we live. And of course, without any of these securities, the more basic securities (food, health, and environment) will not exist. Political security allows for help and relief when disaster strikes, whether it be environment-related, health-related, or food-related.
