Environment and Food

These two human securities were not included in the declaration of Human rights but all the others were. The creation of the Declaration of Human Securities was because of the holocaust which killed millions of people. The reason why Environment was not included was because it was not of direct concern of the world. There were no situations occurring in the world that made the UN think that Environment was relevant enough. Also, the reason why the Food security was not included was because of mostly the same reason. There were no major famines occurring at that time period. On the other hand, now there is the necessity for these securities because instances where they directly effect. So the main reason for them not being in the original Declaration of Human Rights is that they were not as necessary as the others.
