Environment and Food
After going over the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in class and reading several articles pertaining to the 30 Human Rights I found it odd that Food and Environment was not mentioned a single time. The reason I believe that they are not mentioned is because during the time when they were created, environmental problems were not as well known and public. Due to the worlds constant use of fossil fuels the environment has taken a huge toll. On the other hand, a lack of food that leads to starvation around the world has been an ongoing problem throughout time. I don't think its included in the 30 Human Rights because it's hard to pinpoint the specific problem of world hunger and fix it.
