Palestine and Statehood.

The council of members is made up of 15 nations who must agree on taking a vote before they can even consider Palestine into the council. All 15 members must agree but, with the United States being a permanent member their uncertain decision will mainly determine Palestine's future of joining. The United states however, is without a doubt leaning towards accepting Palestine's request into statehood. As supporters of Israel accepting them into the member council would first off, furiate Israeli's and second, deteriorate relationships with Israel. CNN recently stated that, "U.S. President Barack Obama has said he supports Palestinian statehood but reiterated a longstanding U.S. position that Israel must be part of the discussions." This being said, Israel will not to this day (since 1982) give up its land to Palestine and Palestine will continue to attack Israel until an agreement is made to divide land. The United States accepting Palestine into statehood could cause many problems due to it gaining control and power and forcefully attacking its enemies such as Israel. If the United States chooses to not accept Palestine, Palestinian forces could attack the United States with mass destructive weapons leaving the United States in danger.
