What should America do?

Though the burning topic of Israel and Palestine should be an obvious issue is not. Ultimately, the U.S should side with the Israelis because there our alleys. But looking at the greater picture it’s almost fair to say that Palestine and Israel both have there "hands dirty" in the sense that they have both committed close to an equal amount of violent acts against one another. For example, Palestine has sent suicide bombers, and attacked Israel when they gained their independence along with several other countries. As for the Israelis they have made over 750,000 Palestinians refugees,and gained more land than they were suppose with the U.N agreement and by their military forces. These are a select few out of many violent acts that both parties have committed. With that said ideally I think Palestine deserves to have their statehood, but I think they have their work cut out for themselves. However, one must also consider the result of Palestine getting their statehood and the danger that it might inflict on Israel. With that said it is crucial that before Palestine becomes a state that they work out some sort of agreement with Israel for safety and peace reasons. Also, in order for Palestine to become a state they would have to unify themselves and become a lot more organized than they are now, which with time is possible. Under the circumstances I think the U.S should side with their allies.
