Palestine statehood
I believe the U.S. should let the security council of the U.N. vote on Palestine's proposal, because the U.S. is going to help anything by prolonging Palestine's attempts at establishing statehood. If the U.S. ends up vetoing the proposal, then Palestine will still become an observer state due to the pro-Palestinian majority within the UN. Once Palestine has access to the UN's courts, they are going to escalate their conflicts with Israel through land violations. Instead the U.S. should not veto the proposal, and let Palestine a country. Their will still be the same current conflicts, but the conflicts won't escalate at least through the UN's courts if Palestine gains statehood. Palestinians also need a recognized country, because of the mistreatment they are receiving in Israel. in their own country, Palestinians won't have to deal with the occupation of Israel. This will eliminate hostility such as issues as homes being bulldozed.
