Palestine VS Israel

Though we pay much less attention to it than we should, most of what our foreign issues stem from is our position on Israel. Osama bin Laden claims that his intention with the 9/11 attacks was to force the united states to change their position on the issue. Now, in this issue, there are far more people opposing Israel than are for it, including France, Iran, and other middle eastern countries. Now, the difficulty is that both sides are armed to the teeth with nuclear devices and some of the opposition seems to be less controlled than is good for them. Now, this agreement was made long ago that Israel would remain sovereign, but the issue continues to come up, and it seems there will be no peace either way, with or without a major conflict. Both sides have equal claim to this area, but they seem unwilling to get along so something must be done to either renegotiate the agreement with Israel, or to silence the angry Palestinians.
